I agree. I loved this image so much that I had it put on canvas and it now hangs on the wall in my lounge.

LIke the author, the Guardian’s Suzanne Moore, I object to the term “United Kingdom” and always refer to myself as English (as opposed to British). Being proud of my country, England, doesn’t make me a racist. I would never class myself as British because that term encapsulates several countries. Whilst I might well technically be British, I am, by the same logic, European, but I would laugh at anyone who called themselves such.

Good news / bad news

Well the bad news is that I turned a job offer down. I say bad news because it was a brilliant offer, with a great salary, and would have been a tremendous opportunity, but I had to turn it down. I am regretting saying no already.

The good news is that Gold Dust has leaked.

Today is one of those days where it seems everyone’s goal is to irritate me beyond measure. Starting with a rude, ignorant and aggressive bastard on Regent Street, my day was annoying even before I had stepped foot in the office.

A clash with a representative from Ebay, who appeared to have undergone the first half of a lobotomy - but not the second half - only added to my general ennui for today.

Thirdly, dealing with O2, specifically the recalcitrant jobsworth who refused to refund me any of my £125 monthly phone bill (on the flimsiest of excuses), really tipped me over the edge.

How I look forward to walking home and trying to circumvent a stream of annoying tourists who are either clogging up London’s arteries whilst sauntering along three abreast, or otherwise walking backwards into your path in order to take photos of Buckingham Palace with their iPads.

Agh! New teeth! Tori, I love you, but your old teeth were fine. And I am one of the EWF who don’t care if you have surgery or botox or wear a series of less and less convincing wigs. Seriously, the botox and facial tinkering is absolutely fine by me and I support your right to do whatever you like. Weirdly, though, I am not a fan of changing your teeth and I wish that you hadn’t. Am I a hypocrite?

I still love you, though, and I am sure that your music will still continue to give me goosebumps.

Am I an iSheep? Like a lot of people, I logged onto O2 and pre-ordered the new iPhone 5, which won’t get to me for another three weeks. I didn’t even really consider how much the device was (£399.99) or whether it was worth it; I just desperately followed the link to upgrade, and entered all the details as quickly as I could. It’s really not like me to act so impulsively, but there’s something about the new iPhone that I feel I need. I suppose the answer to my question, then, is yes, I am an iSheep.
